Product Description
PLA, or Polylactic Acid, is a commonly used thermoplastic material that does not require the use of a heated print bed. Blending a mixture of plant-based materials and polymers creates E3DP PLA. Because of the lower melting temperatures and lack of warping, PLA filaments retain their colour vibrancy and are a common choice for displays or small household prints.
PLA (Polylactic Acid) is derived from renewable resources such as cornstarch or sugarcane. PLA has a much nicer finish and better mechanical properties as compared to the other PLA filaments.
Key Features
Minimal Nozzle Clogs
Controlled manufacturing environment and dehydrated resin pellets and filaments after every stage ensures no moisture absorption and prevents nozzle clogs.
High Precision
Fully automated closed-loop diameter measuring and self-adaptive control system in the manufacturing process ensures strict diameter tolerance of +/- 0.02 mm for filaments.
Better Layer Adhesion
Right blend of resin pellets and additives improves layer adhesion and increases mechanical strength of the 3D printed parts, giving you a superior finish.
Minimal Warping
PLA filaments made with E3DP Warp Free Technology ensures there is minimal or no warping when printed with recommended printing instructions.
